My mom started teaching me about traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy when I was five. As a fine art teacher, she taught me the importance of beauty, which has stayed with me even as I pursued more functional design forms.<\/p>\n<p>My philosophy is really simple: Everything I make should always look nice and intentional. I don&rsquo;t believe in settling on design because of function or doing something at random just because it looks good. There should always be a rationale.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t\t\t\tI WORK AT THE INTERSECTION OF BRAND &amp; PRODUCT, BRINGING A HEAVY SENSE OF GRAPHIC DESIGN TO MY DIGITAL WORK.\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n<p>I&rsquo;ve been lucky enough to have had a great variety of career experiences: I&rsquo;ve worked for agencies, product companies, and my own freelance business, both in the office and remote. This versatility comes through in the work I do as well.
